  • Casimir Loxsom

    Running Specialist

    Casimir Loxsom has been a student of sport and movement over a 14 year career in athletics. After sampling a diverse set of youth sports, he found a passion for speed at Wilbur Cross High School where he was state champion at 800 meters in 2009. Competing for Penn State University, Loxsom became the first American to medal in a distance event at the IAAF World Junior Championships in 2010 and was a two time NCAA silver medalist. As a professional for the Brooks Beast Track Club, he qualified for the 2015 World Championships of Athletics in Beijing and won 2 international gold medals as a part of the 4x800 relay for Team USA at the IAAF World Relay Championships.   • Brent Chuma

    As a full-time University of Bridgeport Student Doctor of Chiropractic and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Brent uses each treatment/training session as an opportunity to hone his skills as a healthcare examiner, movement specialist, and manual therapist in order to provide the highest quality of care to his clients and future patients. Brent graduated from the University of Delaware where he studied exercise science. During this time he focused on enhancing performance through the use of strength and conditioning in order to promote athletic development and minimize the risk for injury. Now, he is in his final year of chiropractic school, where his vision is to encourage an active lifestyle among each of his patients through a targeted therapeutic approach to patient-centered care that will reduce pain and dysfunction and thereby help to optimize human functionality.

    Trainer, NASM CPT- Pre and Post Natal

    Ali graduated from Manhattanville college with a degree in Sports Studies and concentration in Exercise Science. A native to Fairfield, Ali has been training and inspiring her clients to be stronger and more balanced for the last three years. In college she competed in Track and Field and is currently the Assistant Coach at Greenwich High School. When she isn't at TAP, Ali enjoys competitive powerlifting, dancing and creating fun and challenging workouts outdoors.

  • Dr. EJ Zebro

    CCSP, CSCS

    Dr EJ Zebro has been teaching the art of functional movement for over 25 years. He studied Exercise Science at The University of Delaware where he also minored in Biology and Sports Psychology and played varsity soccer. He honed his functional training skills working first in California as a personal trainer, then as a strength and conditioning coach at the University of Bridgeport for the men's soccer program. It was during that time at the UB Chiropractic College that Dr. Zebro developed TRAIN AWAY PAIN as a way to improve the performance of the athletes and decrease their rate of injury. He and his staff have used these movements with countless clients, that have included professional athletes and highly functioning individuals of all ages with great success.     Lauren Leppla is a master trainer and Partner at TAP. Lauren grew up in Fairfield and attended New York University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. She is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. After living in New York for 7 years, her love of the outdoors and passion for health, fitness brought her back to her home state of Connecticut. Working with many runners and triathletes, she designs fun and challenging programs to optimize perfomance and keep her athletes injury-free. In her free time, you can find Lauren in the mountains of VT and NH competing in endurance events.
